About Mr. Sabol

Mr. Sabol is a sixth grade Science teacher at a NY school that wishes not to be connected in any way to this website. He graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree, with a concentration in Earth Sciences. Mr. Sabol earned his Masters in Technology Integration and Curriculum Development from The University of Phoenix and has completed certification in administration and facilities management at both the building and district level.  He is a committee member for NEA-NY for technology and a subject area representative for STANYS. In the past years, Mr. Sabol has received several awards for his teaching. These awards include Raymour and Flannigan’s Teacher of the Year, WBNG-TV Educator of the Week, and the Conrad Sterns Award from the school he works in. As a teacher Mr. Sabol has been  involved in many school activities, including coaching Weather and Atmosphere/Caring for the Community Club, Drug Quiz Show and a World Champion Odyssey of the Mind structure team.  As a youth Mr. Sabol Earned the rank of Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor of the Order of the Arrow and continued to be involved in scouting for 9 years as Scout Master of a local troop.  Mr. Sabol continues to coach the only Junior Olympic men's team in the southern teer at.  Chenango Gymnastics.  Mr. Sabol is also a Lieutenant at Chenango Bridge Fire Company and has been active in the fire service since 1994. 
Mr. Sabol is Married to Mrs. Sabol who is a certified art teacher and has a  masters in special education. she has also been a coach for Odyssey of the Mind, as well as a judge. Outside of school, Mrs. Sabol is active with outdoor activities, especially camping. 
In October, 2007 Mr. and Mrs. Sabol have a daughter, son and are expecting a new little girl in April 2014.
